Core Mathematics and Physical Science

With an average in mathematics and science above 60% before entering the school and in grades 8 and 9, the students of Sunward High Performance School show an exceptional promise in Core Mathematics and Physical Science that the school aims to nurture through integrating these subjects into the curriculum through:

• Making Core Mathematics and Physical Science core subjects from grades 8 through 12 (Physical Science is referred to as Natural Science in grade 8 and 9)

• Increasing the amount of time and attention spent on mathematics and science by doubling the number of lessons i.e. from one lesson to two lessons spent on the subject
